Is my data safe?
Yes. Your chat data is stored in YOUR Google Drive. We never see your conversations. Additionally, your license key backup is strictly encrypted in your Drive for security.
What's the difference between Free and Pro?
Free gives you limited chat slots and text-only restore. Pro unlocks unlimited chats, full restore with images, and cross-device sync. Pro is a one-time purchase of $8.99.
Why do restore features sometimes break?
Web AI interfaces (Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude) update frequently. When they change their code, our restore injection may fail temporarily. We actively monitor these changes and release fixes quickly.
Can I use ChatShuttle on multiple devices?
Yes! Your license is bound to your Google account. Any device where you sign in with the same Google Drive account will automatically restore your Pro status.
How do I switch Google accounts?
Go to Settings (⚙️ icon) > Account and click 'Sign Out'. This will clear your local data and allow you to sign in with a different Google Drive account.
What file formats can I import?
Currently we support ChatGPT export ZIPs and Claude export files. More formats coming soon.
Are file attachments (i.e. PDFs) supported?
We mostly focus on preserving the text conversation and images. Restoring other file types (like PDFs) is technically different and is on our future roadmap.
Restore isn't working — what should I do?
Try refreshing the target AI page and making sure you're in a new chat. If it still doesn't work, check our GitHub Issues or contact support.
